PDA’s 2021 Safer Pharmacies Survey shows an unacceptable decline in working conditions

According to a Pharmacists’ Defence Association (PDA) survey.

The percentage of pharmacists who reported that their workplace always has safe staffing levels has dropped more than 6% since 2020.

A figure of 8.4% was reported just 2 years ago and this most recent survey shows an unacceptable decline in working conditions.

It has highlighted the challenging and unsafe environments that some pharmacists are working in.

There has also been a decline in Pharmacists feeling ‘Physically Safe’ falling from 27.4% (all of the time) to 19.8% in 2021.
